Unified Threat Management (UTM) is the next generation of firewall technology; offering combined protection against all Internet threats; including viruses, worms, trojans, phishing, spyware, SPAM, undesirable content and hacking.
Pushed, managed and monitored. Network Box UTM+ is the way other UTM devices will be in the future. Utilizing award winning “PUSH” technology, to ensure world class protection, updates are “pushed out” within seconds of new threat signatures becoming available. No other UTM solution even comes close.
The future of UTM is already here....
Network Box looks like a product, but it is actually a service. Combining a full range of sophisticated security functions, expertly packaged into a single appliance, each Network Box is continuously monitored, maintained and updated by experts at the Network Operations Centre.
It is also incredibly affordable - one year of Network Box protection may cost less than one month's salary for many IT employees. And Network Box is always on the job, providing security updates 24x7.
All this means the only time you'll ever think about security is when you receive your weekly email report listing the Internet threats you've avoided.
Network Box utilises class-leading technology from AMD, Kaspersky and Surf Control. However, even the best technology needs to be expertly installed, configured, managed and updated to remain effective.
We check for new Internet threats and vulnerabilities 24/7, and update each Network Box using push technology to ensure you always have the latest protection.
Initial Configuration
Virus attacks and hacks generally exploit network or software weaknesses that have been known about and preventable for some time. However, even for experienced IT staff, security solutions are difficult to accurately configure and manage on an ongoing basis.
With these factors in mind our security experts work with you to configure your Network Box to match your security needs. A configuration profile is created to determine the initial security settings. Ongoing configuration changes are made by Network Box, leaving you with the peace of mind that your security needs are being expertly implemented.
Security Operations Centres
The global network of Network Box Operation Centres monitor and manage every Network Box 24/7 (including environment, hardware, operating system, security modules and performance measures). Updated threat protection signatures and software packages are installed as soon as they are available, using Network Box proprietary PUSH technology. 3DES encryption and 2048bit RSA authentication keys protect the management and monitoring communication channels.
With our highly trained security specialists and sophisticated health monitoring systems we often detect, identify and fix problems before they ever affect our customers. With this kind of support Network Box behaves like your very own team of security specialists protecting your networks at all times.
There are centres in: Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Middle East, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, UK, USA.
Push Updates
The Network Box Operation Centres work around the clock, 24 a day, 365 days a year, pushing updates out in real-time. As soon as a new anti virus, anti SPAM or IDP signature is available, it is immediately pushed out to every Network Box. The average time required to update a system is currently under 45 seconds - across all the systems Network Box manages around the globe.
Maintenance and On-Site Service
Included with each Network Box is a service contract covering hardware, software, and all updates necessary to provide the latest protection against Internet threats. In the unlikely event that your Network Box needs to be replaced, all of the settings and configurations are stored at our operations centre and can be quickly sent to the new box. Re-installation takes minutes.
Data Privacy
As part of the Network Box system design, remote management is only ever for the Network Box system itself. No access to customer file servers, web server, FTP servers or mail servers is ever asked for or ever required by us. |
